Those who know me have described me as having strong determination, yet sometimes making poor decisions in various aspects of life. I have deeply regretted these choices. After two decades, including brief periods living in Singapore and Johor Bahru, I finally received a diagnosis that explained much of my struggle. I discovered that my cognitive difficulties stemmed from an inherited condition called alpha thalassemia trait. While not life-threatening, this blood disorder has caused significant cognitive challenges that have jeopardized my well-being. It explains my lifelong fatigue and reduced oxygen-carrying capacity, resulting in symptoms such as weakness, difficulty concentrating, and headaches.

For the past twenty years, I have been out of contact with many of you. My impaired cognitive decision-making, combined with an undiagnosed illness, led me to desperately seek a cure. I placed my trust in a now-retired Malaysian Chinese physician who persuaded me to invest my entire life savings—earned through both full-time and part-time work—into health supplements he claimed would cure my condition. Tragically, this individual manipulated me into liquidating my Singapore Central Provident Fund (CPF) savings, accumulated over years of hard work, for his own financial gain.

After enduring two decades of financial exploitation, I am now left with only 100 Singapore dollars and no means to pay rent in Malaysia. I lost my Singapore Permanent Resident status years ago. I am urgently seeking employment in Singapore with accommodation provided, as I currently have barely enough funds to sustain myself.
